Hutch offers Trees, Trees, Trees. This mod comes with rows or groupings for mission builders. Two tree variations included, different seasons also. These two mods replace the following: SILO = TREE LINE WINDMILL = TREE GROUP Trees destructible by HVARS or bombs. Not aircraft friendly! Makes runways more interesting. Great for mission building. |

"HAIL COLUMBIA" by TheFlyingDutchman
"Hail Columbia" was flown by Colonel John Riley "Killer" Kane.
Colonel Kane won the Medal of Honor for his leadership over the oil fields of Ploesti.

from Ranwers and Zoso and a lilduckfoot mission
Ranwers has created
a skin for The Flying Dutchman's P-51B for
desert terrains; Sicily and Malta. Just in time for the new terrain.
lilduckfoot offers a
teaser... the first mission of a campaign, "The Rookie".
Contains a standard mission / cinema and a "you gotta fly it" version.
Good start!
Zoso presents a
P-38J with D-Day markings. Very good start from one
of our younger members. Looking forward to great things from this modder.
Rumors: More from MEGA and there may be a Hurricane

14-05-04 Tuskegee Airmen from Skycat and MEGA offers Snow Tops
Skycat has created four skins
for Rammjager's P-51D (v.1) "Six Gun Whore". MEGA submits snow tops for
use with Buccaneer's "Early Fall" terrain.
Great information on the pilots of these aircraft in his readme files.
In addition, he offers a natural metal skin as a starting point and resource for skinners, which can be
found here.
Good opportunity here for mission builders!

8-05-04 MEGA's Wirbelwind Flak Panzer mod and a new Asphalt runway from Fly.
This mod replaces
the stock Wirbelwind (Whirlwind) Flak Panzer with a much upgraded 3D model
and high resolution skin.
Fly submits a new
asphalt runway which he says is his favorite.
LockNLoad has created a
PDF file to help Mission Builders with the available trigger "Checks" and "Actions"
with explanations and mission names where they can be found for reference on the Creating Missions Page page.
Fantastic work, all of you! 29-04-04 MEGA's
revised Apartment Mod and Zoso offers a Four Tracer mod. This is an update
of MEGA'S Apartments mod released in 2003 and is modified to reduce the "shimmer
effect".
Each building now has a distinctive front, side and rear. Great work, MEGA!
Four Tracer Mod. This is Zoso's first attempt at a mod. While he said he does not guarantee anything, this is a good first attempt. Future Modder!

21-02-04 Flight Model Pack 5.2 and a Winter Quad skin from MEGA.

Target, the WW2 Fighters community's resident flight model expert, presents his latest Flight Model Pack, version 5.2:
Version 5.2 introduces a number of
changes to roll performance. The roll
rates of the Me 262, the Me 109s (G-10 and K-4) and the Spitfires (LF.IX
and F.XIV) have been revised. The roll acceleration of the P-38J-10 and
the nonflyable aircraft has been decreased, and the effect of G-load on
roll rates has been increased.
Drag coefficients for the P-51B/D and the Fw 190D-9 have been revised to
better reflect the typical condition of aircraft in service. The drag
coefficients for the P-47D-25 and D-30 have been revised to account for
the addition of wing racks.
The P-51B's engine now represents a Packard Merlin V-1650-3 cleared for
67" War Emergency boost, rather than only 61" Military.
The P-38J's stability as a gunnery platform has been improved.

22-01-04 MEGA's new Quad 20 mm AA gun.
MEGA's latest mod boasts several
innovative new features. First, the gunner's head moves in tandem with the guns. This is
the first mod to implement a soldier animation. Second, the mod can be installed in three
different sizes. It can be installed at scale (1.0x), but may be installed at either 1.5x
or 2x as well. The gun is based on MIKH's SDKFZ 7-10 from the Rommel mods, and the gunner
is wearing an authentic camoflage pattern Luftwaffe Field Division uniform adapted from
textures developed by Rangefer for Combat Mission. Click on image.

11-01-04 New Runways from Fly and a Training Mission by Timebandit
Fly offers three new concrete runway textures based on Alexandre Cadel's textures for FS2002, with varied levels of dirt and detail. Fly has also updated several of the textures for his No Guts, No Glory P-47 skin, which can be found here.
Also, Timebandit has created a Split-S training mission featuring the P51 Mustang, which is now available on the Miscellaneous Missions page.
